Prior to specializing in professional photography, he worked for years in film,- tv media and music productions, open-air concerts, music bands, motor racing and as a diplomat for the german embassies (Corps Diplomatie) all over the world.

He has appeared in over 2000 concerts as well as in television productions such as Cobra 11, MTV, VIVA, ZDF, RTL, SKY-Television, Die Sieger, Wilde Engel, SK-Kölsch, Tatort, Le Stranger, Farinelli. For over 5 years he was used as a set photographer for Sky Television commercials. In this context, he received over 17 awards with the Sky television team, Gold, Siber, Bronze of the PROMABDA - Global Awards for the best advertising films internationally.   
Nevertheless, he was also responsible for the organizing team of the Comet Music Award in Cologne. 
He also accompanied many well-known music bands across Europe as a tour manager such as Tina Turner, Phil Collins, Bryan Adams, Aerosmith, ICE-T, Die Ärzte to name just a few.
